About Nick Martin

Nick is a professional photographer whose previous careers saw him in the world of sports and business

A passion for painting and ink drawing was his creative arena before picking up a camera and discovering the creativity to be found in photographic and digital images

For some of his work he will also use his artistic background to manipulate the images to add a new dimension as well as adding vivid colour

Nick uses the latest digital equipment which allows any image to be colour, black and white or sepia

Nick has been awarded Licentiateship by the following internationally recognised professional photographers organisations:

BIPP - British Institute of Professional Photographers     MPA - Master Photographers Association

SWPP - Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers    BPPA - British Professional Photographers Association

The achievment of being awarded Licentiateship is probably best explained by Eric Jenkin, the chairman of the MPA qualifying committee:

" It is a great honour for a photographer to be awarded a qualification and have their work recognised.  A Licentiate award indicates that the photographer is a qualified member of the Association.  It also demonstrates their competency in their chosen field of photography which reassures members of the public that they are using the services of a qualified photographer "

Nick is also a member of the FSB - the Federation of Small Businesses
